Donating to the Parish of Larkhill, Whitehall and Santry

A number off parishioners have enquired about how donations to the parish can be made. We are grateful for these enquiries and we will be glad to receive financial donations. Our Parish relies primarily on the family envelope collection and the Parish Lotto to pay our running costs. If you are in a position to make a once-off donation or you wish to set up a standing order for regular monthly donations, we would be very grateful. The following donating options are available to support our Parish.

1. Cheque sent by post.
You can make a once-off donation or make regular donations by sending a cheque in the post to the Parish Office. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Parish of the Holy Child No. 2 Account’ and the address is – The Church of the Holy Child, The Thatch Road, Whitehall, Dublin 9.
Please include your full name and address in order for us to update our records with your kind donation.

2. Donate via the Bank
You can donate via your bank (online or in branch) to the Parish bank account or set up a standing order.
Account name: Holy Child Larkhill No. 2 Current Account
IBAN: IE95 BOFI 9007 3844 1520 06
BIC: BOFIIE2D

Please ensure that your name appears on the standing order details and if possible, please let the Parish Office know of your generous decision to establish a standing order.

3. Safe in the Church
Donations can be left securely in the safe at the back of the Church. Please place your donation in a sealed envelope marked "Donation" and clearly write your name and address on the envelope. If you would prefer to donate anonymously, simply omit the name and address.

4. Easter / Summer / Christmas Dues
Envelopes are available in the Church and will be gratefully received. They may be left securely in the safe at the back of the Church or handed in at the Parish Centre or given to a Sacristan.

5. Donate Button on Parish Website
There is a ‘DONATE BUTTON’ on the Parish website. This enables electronic donations to be made to the Diocese in lieu of the first and second collections at Mass. The first collection goes toward the salary costs of all the priests (active, retired and ill) in the Diocese and this fund has been severely depleted since the closure of churches. We hope to have a facility to donate to the Parish shortly and we will update you on this facility in due course.

6. Donate in Person
If you would like to donate in person, please place your donation in an envelope and hand it in at the Parish Centre which is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm or hand it to a Sacristan. Unless you would prefer your donation to remain anonymous, please write your name and address on the envelope.

The Parish Office is open each weekday between 9am and 1pm so if you have any queries regarding donations, please do not hesitate to call into the office, phone on 8375274 or email whitehall@dublindiocese.ie.

Many thanks for your ongoing engagement in our parish community. Your support is greatly needed and is much appreciated. May God bless you and your loved ones.
